WEDDING PACKAGES

We regularly help couples put the finishing gloss on their special day, every wedding display we do is different, as it should be. The venue and couples wishes are the main dictating criteria. We choose from the best commercial fireworks, to get the look you want, not a standard package.

Things to check when booking fireworks for your wedding or civil partnership

1) Is the venue happy about your plans and is the site suitable?

We will liase with the venue and arrange a site visit if required, if it cannot be done safely, we will be honest and tell you - not fire half a show or create a hazard and hope no one is hurt or upset.

2) Is the firework company sending experienced crew or shipping garden fireworks to someone who will let them off for you?

All our firers have 5 or more years experience of all types of shows before they are qualified to lead a show - not a 2 day training session.

3) Have they offered a copy of their public liability insurance certificate? You cannot rely on your house insurance or an employers liability to cover you no matter what you may be told, there are only 2 insurers who will insure firework companies, insist on see proof of cover before you part with any money, and call the broker to see if the insurance is still valid

So still interested? Give us a call or email us and we will discuss just how special we can make your day, shows start from £750, including crew and insurance. We know you can get packages cheaper from internet advertised companies, garden fireworks and untrained crew, you would be better to let the best man buy sparklers, the effect would be the same.

Venues that are unsuitable or not firework friendly

As we have been firing shows for almost 25 years we are often asked about suitability of particular venues. The list below is venues we know do not allow fireworks or we consider to have an unsuitable site

Any city center hotel anywhere - unless you have a huge budget for specialised fireworks

Lodge on the Loch, Loch Lomond - we will take bookings but VERY weather dependant

Seamill Hydro have neighbours too close and will not allow fireworks

Peoples Palace - Glasgow Green - It's a city park and impossible to exclude the public from.

House for an Art Lover - they say it's possible but the grounds belong to Glasgow Parks Dept - It's not possible to get permission - we have tried honest

Lochgreen House in Troon - Unlikely to give permission and you CANNOT fire outwith the grounds

Hotels on Largs Seafront - the grounds are not big enough and the roads are public

Brig O Doune Hotel in Ayr, the hotels grounds are too small and the land owner across the river will not give permission anymore
