Cryo Jet System

The team have a new toy - CO2 cryojets - like the liquid nitrogen smoke systems beloved of London's West End and Las Vegas but portable and safer. The DMX computer controlled "smoke" jets use liquid CO2 in a spray to create an instant cloud of smoke, which vanishes just as quickly. Great for reveals and music events where pyro is unsuitable.

Glasgow Firework Displays

The books are closed for this years shows, 8 shows on 1 night is quite enough thank you. I am delighted all but 1 of last years shows rebooked, they decided to try a local company who have been pursuing them. However we picked up 3 new shows all on recomendations so we're busier than ever.

Secret Wedding Display

Our team is burned the midnight oil (our own brand) planning a surprise display for a wedding in the Scottish Islands, all the preparation went well, and we were on site in plenty of time. The guests were behind a line of citronella pedestal torches, the crew faired less well as every midge in Scotland arrived for a party - they ate well, and we all have the bites to prove it. No amount of Avon Skin so Soft was putting them off. However it was a stunning night for fireworks and a wedding party that went with a bang. The venue told us they were glad we had been booked as apparently we do better displays than any other company that they have had. Perhaps local Scottish crew survive better under sustained midge attack than the soft southerners.

Scottish Fireworks Championships

A great evening of fireworks from all the contestants, sadly we did not win, but against some companies with very deep pockets, we put on a good show. The winners now get to do it all again in Plymouth at the UK Firework Championships 2007, enjoy the drive boys, turn right and drive 500 miles.

Launch of HMS Dauntless

HMS Dauntless was launched sucessfully by the BAE Systems team in Govan with confetti by Midnight Storm.
